Eligibility and family
Eligibility and family members
Who the announcement covers, how applications are assessed and what has not yet been confirmed.
Announced family categories
- Principal applicant — the person making the contribution or investment.
- Spouse — US$100,000 contribution.
- Unmarried children aged 18–25 without children of their own — US$100,000 each.
- Children under 18 — US$25,000 each.
No category has been announced for parents, grandparents, siblings or other relatives. The adult-child rate should not be applied to them.
Government assessment
Under Decree 524/2025, applications are assessed by the Argentine authorities, including background checks, before a decision is made. Meeting the financial threshold does not in itself confer eligibility; the decision rests entirely with the government.
